John Dudley
Born in 1931, Shanghai, China. He was educated in Melbourne
and Hong Kong University. In 1967 – 1984 Studied with
Shirley Bourne and Brian Gilligan and has had numerous exhibitions
including Victorian Artists’ Society, Munster Arms Gallery,
Emerald, Wiregrass, Ordon Gallery and various Arts Societies.
He is represented in the Commonwealth Art Bank, local government
and private collections.
Awards include Camberwell Rotary Art Show (Oil), AME Bale
(Watercolour) and many others
John Dudley …pushes the boundaries of landscape
realism into jewel-like equivalences with lashes of expressionist
marks, abstract sensibility, internal light, daring drawing
and an incisive eye for painterly impact.
